Why Choose The DSX?
Gen 3 Row Unit
Consistent seed placement in a variety of soil types and applications, and requires very little horsepower.
4cm narrower and 25kg lighter than our previous design, allowing even narrower row spacings and lighter machinery.
Features a reinforced parallelogram which makes the row unit stiffer whilst also able to travel 37cm for contour following.
Improved optional pneumatic row cleaner, now mounted on its own independent parallelogram extremely close to the disk to ensure debris cannot fall into the slot.
The Gen 3 row unit now clamps onto the toolbar, making the row unit even stiffer whilst allowing easier row spacing adjustment or removal.
New cast seed boot with tungsten carbide tile, dramatically increased durability whilst featuring a spring loaded design that automatically compensates for wear.
Same extremely successful undercut disc design with accurate depth control.
Market leading performance.
Pressurized Split Hopper
The DSX features a 4700l main pressurized hopper, split 60/40. Each hopper has its own metering unit, which enables the selective seeding of two different products. The hoppers are sealed with their own individual lids.
To expand capacity and distribute additional products, our 400l GH400 mini hopper can be fitted to the front, rear or both front and rear of the machine. Each GH400 features their own metering system.

Row Spacings
Range of options for any application.
The 4-7.2m supports row spacings of 15cm, 16.7cm, 18.7cm, 20cm and 25cm. Thanks to the profiled toolbar and clamping mechanism on each row unit, the row spacings we can offer are extremely flexible with virtually any spacing possible as long as it is wider than our minimum spacing.
The clamping mechanism also means that operators can always adjust their spacings if needed, as each row unit is only held on by two M16 bolts.
Stabilizer Wheels
The 4-7.2m DSX does not feature contour following wings, as the DSX row units are mounted on independent parallelograms with 37cm of travel. Optional stabilizer wheels can be used on wider working widths to keep the DSX wings parallel to the ground on undulating terrain, assisting the row units to contour follow and ensuring consistent and accurate depth control.
Improved Contour Following
DSX Metering System
Interchangeable metering wheels for any product.
The DSX features two metering systems with interchangeable rollers, one for each tank. The metering systems are capable of an extremely wide range of application rates and types of products, as the rollers can be quickly changed in the field without any need for tools.
Additional metering rollers can be stowed on the machine, and calibration is aided by a calibration bag hook found integrated on the machine.
Liquid Fertilizer
Modular systems bespoke to your needs.
We offer a range of liquid fertilizer options depending on the farmers nutrition requirements, including a rear mounted 1500l tank for our trailed DSX. Our tanks come complete with electric or hydraulic pumps, pipework and Wilger flow indicators that are easily expanded to suit a variety of machine configurations. Liquid fertilizer
Electronic Service Panel
Easy access for the operator.
All the machines electronics are mounted behind a panel on the front of the tank, easily accessible from the platform without any need to go underneath the machine. This area also has space to store additional modules or connections.
Seeding Configurations.
Sowing all rows.
Sowing with double row spacings.
Sowing two different products.
Key Features and Benefits
-
The 4 / 4.8 / 6 / 6.4 and 7.2 meter DSX drill models utilize a modular frame design, enabling our customers to easily expand the width of their machine should they need to cover a greater area in the future.
-
The 3rd generation row unit features an undercut disc that is capable of penetrating the soil more effectively than a traditional vertical disc drill. As a direct result, the DSX will always deliver consistent and accurate seed placement, even in the most challenging conditions. The angled disc pulls itself into the ground, requiring less downforce and resulting in less compaction to the soil surrounding the seeding zone.
The seed is dropped under a flap of soil, making it easier for the press wheel to completely close the seeding zone. This process also captures humidity at the point of the slot being closed, creating a better environment for the seed to successfully germinate.
The disc angle on the 3rd generation row unit has been reduced by 10 degrees from the first generation. This development has helped to eliminate any potential soil throw and allows faster forward speeds in light or cultivated soils. Typical forward speeds are between 9kph and 12kph.
-
The 3rd generation DSX row unit utilizes a parallel linkage that offers 370mm of contour following travel. Each coulter is pressurized by its own individual hydraulic ram, the pressure for which can be centrally adjusted from the cab, allowing the operator to quickly and easily set the pressure to suit soil conditions.
0kg to 350kg of downward force can be applied per row unit (this will vary between drill widths and the number of row units fitted), enabling the DSX to consistently place seed at the correct depth, even in extremely dry and compacted conditions.
The 3rd generation row units depth wheel is positioned directly in line with the seed outlet, offering market leading depth control. This is especially important when shallow seeding. Depth can be easily adjusted in 5mm increments, allowing for perfect seed placement.
-
The pneumatic closing system offers between 6kg and 90kg of closing force, which gives the operator the flexibility to adjust the closing pressure from the cab, ensuring perfect closing across a wide range of applications, soil types and conditions.
The closing wheel can be adjusted to be more or less aggressive, achieving perfect slot closure, no matter the conditions.
A variety of closing wheels are available to suit differing soil types and conditions. Closing wheels can also be lifted out of work when not required, for applications such as bean drilling in wet conditions.
-
CleanSweep technology allows the operator to adjust row cleaner down pressure from inside the cab, resulting in less ‘hairpinning’, a higher plant count and more uniform germination. Row cleaners can be locked out of work when not required.
-
The DSX offers a multitude of seeding possibilities, with the ability to run up to four granular hoppers and one liquid tank.
Product placement is simply adjusted with a lever, resulting in configurations that facilitate different products being placed together in all the rows (seed and fertilizer), with every other row shut off (OSR on wider spacing) or alternative rows for different products (companion cropping or large and small seed cover crop mixes).
