Role Profile

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled agricultural field-based aftersales technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be an experienced agricultural machinery technician, and possess a solid understanding of hydraulic and electrical schematics, coupled with excellent communication skills. This position requires a strong customer-facing presence, the ability to resolve problems effectively, and a passion for delivering exceptional service.

Responsibilities

• Travel to various customer locations in the UK and abroad to provide on-site support and set-up for our agricultural machinery.

• Interpret and understand hydraulic and electrical schematics to diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues.

• Conduct product verification and validation of new components, ensuring they meet quality and performance standards.

• Provide training and support to dealers on product features, specifications, and troubleshooting techniques.

• Assist in the warranty processing and claims, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

• Maintain clear and professional communication with customers and dealers, addressing inquiries and resolving conflicts as they arise.

• Document field non-conformance ensuring accurate records are maintained.

Values/Skills

• Proven experience as a field technician or in a similar role within the agricultural or machinery industry.

• Strong understanding of hydraulic and electrical systems, with the ability to interpret technical schematics.

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey technical information to diverse audiences.

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to resolve conflicts in a professional manner.

• Experience in Product Verification and Validation

• Proficient in mathematics and English, with strong analytical skills.

• Clean driving license and willingness to travel to various locations as required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £30,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
